IEEE ICRA 2029, the flagship international conference in the field of robotics promoted by the IEEE Robotics and Automation Society, will be held in Milan. The International Conference on Robotics and Automation is one of the leading events for the global scientific and industrial community.

The 2029 edition is expected to welcome over 7,000 participants, who will gather at the MiCo – Milano Convention Centre. The scientific and organizational leadership of the Milan edition will be entrusted to Paolo Rocco and Elena De Momi as General Chairs, Matteo Matteucci as Local Chair, and Andrea M. Zanchettin as Publication Chair.

All members of the organizing committee are professors within the Degree Program in Automation and Control Engineering, with expertise in Robotics. The assignment of the conference represents a significant acknowledgment of the region’s academic and technological ecosystem and contributes to strengthening Milan’s position in the international landscape of robotics and automation.
