The regulation of the Automation Engineering degree program is compatible with both the Information Engineering Class (Class L-B) and the Industrial Engineering Class (Class 1-9). In the third year of the program, students are invited to choose the class under which they wish their degree to be issued upon completion of their studies. The class affiliation of the degree is important if, after graduation, students wish to take the State Exam to register in Section B of the Engineers’ Register and work — with the title of Junior Engineer — in a profession for which such registration is required.

The Master’s Degree in Automation and Control Engineering belongs to Class LM-25 and allows access — upon passing different State exams — to both the Information and Industrial sectors of Section A of the Engineers’ Register, with the title of Engineer.
